Login on Spotify using Facebook Signing up or connecting with Facebook means you can log in with your Facebook account. If you have created your Spotify account using your Facebook then no, your Spotify account is forever tied to the Facebook Account. If you want a dedicated Spotify login, you need to make a new account, non-Facebook, using the ‘Create an account using my email address) link on the registration page. But as you’ve stated you don’t want a new account due to your playlists..
Keep in mind if you disable your Facebook account, you can still put your username and Facebook password directly into the app.
However, if you still want an account and you want to completely eradicate the Facebook side of things for whatever reason, you can then get in touch with customer services using the online contact form if you would like your playlists moved over to your new account and/or your Facebook account to be removed.
It also lets you display your Facebook name and picture in the app, and easily find your friends on Spotify.
