Kakamega Hill School was founded on 4th January 1999 by Madam Selpha Maina Omulisia and Mr. John Kipkemoi Kiptuyei. The school was established to address the growing demand for quality primary education and child development in Kenya’s western region. Its founders envisioned a school that would foster both individual growth and societal development, creating a foundation for excellence in education.


Today

Over the years, Kakamega Hill School has experienced significant growth. To date, the school has admitted over 15,000 pupils, with a current student population exceeding 2,000 pupils. This number includes the recently launched junior secondary section, which has enrolled more than 200 students. The school continues to uphold its reputation for providing high-quality education, attracting students from across the region.


Future Plans

Kakamega Hill School aims to elevate its standards and expand its capacity further.
