Nyando is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of seven constituencies in Kisumu County. List of Elected MCAs in Nyando Constituency 2022.
The constituency was founded for the 1963 elections, but for the 1966 election, the Nyakach Constituency was separated from it. Muhoroni Constituency was separated from Nyando in 1987, and parts of the defunct Winam Constituency were absorbed into Nyando. It was one of the three seats in the former Nyando District. Nyando’s population was 161,508 in 2019 (2019 census). Hon. Okelo Jared Odoyo of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party currently serves in the national legislature.
