OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (formerly Wing Hang Bank Limited and OCBC Wing Hang Bank Limited) is a licensed bank headquartered in Hong Kong. It became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore’s Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) on October 15, 2014, enhancing OCBC’s regional network with 70 branches across Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China.
History
- Foundation: Established in 1937 as Wing Hang Ngan Ho in Guangdong, primarily for currency exchange.
- Expansion to Hong Kong: Re-established in Hong Kong in 1945 with HK$300,000 in capital.
- Incorporation: Became Wing Hang Bank in 1960.
- International Partnership: Irving Trust Company acquired a majority stake in Wing Hang Bank in 1973, and the bank was redeveloped.
- Public Listing: Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1993.

- Merged with Chekiang First Bank in 2004.
- Acquired Inchroy Credit Corporation in 2007.

- OCBC Purchase: Acquired by OCBC for S$6.23 billion in 2014, subsequently delisted.
- Rebranding: Renamed as OCBC Wing Hang to align with the OCBC brand.
